Cap Those Feels

It's dangerous to be up in your feels these days. A simple act could make a person respond in an extreme manner. There is no doubt we're living in tumultuous times. That's why it is very important to not knee jerk.

Like yesterday afternoon at the grocery store. I kept getting cut off on the road so by the time I pulled into the parking lot I was exasperated. A man decided to zip in front of me and I was cut off, yet again. I was so frustrated that I glared at him.

Yeah...the woman glare. You would think that would do it. Most men would go the other direction and run for their lives! However, this one glared back. And let me tell you, he did so with eyes full of

deeply rooted anger. Devil eyes. Maybe even serial killer eyes. Scary!

When I went back today, let's just say I looked for his car before I parked and went inside. It probably wasn't my brightest idea to "glare", anyway. Unfortunately, these days it is definitely not safe.

My newest project? Working on containing those feels. Or they could get me in some serious trouble.
