Life can change on a dime. We all know the concept. Sadly, it probably hits a little closer to home for others. Today, my dad received a call that a close friend had died on Friday. They maintained a 53-year friendship. It was devastating for all of us.

The story got harder the more that was unveiled. Turns out, he suffered in silence for years. Dad is forced to face the reality that his friend he texted and made plans with on Thursday died the next day.

Meanwhile, an hour away a dear friend is texting that her first grandchild is coming into the world at this very moment. It's crazy, how fragile life is. Since Friday one dear soul went out of our lives and one dear soul came in.

I keep hammering this but it seems even more important today. Live! Pursue your dreams. Make a mark on this world with every breath, heartbeat, and moment in time. Jump into this planet that seems to spin faster by the day and live!
