This one's for my soul sisters in suffering. You know who you are. The outsiders living on the other side of the circle watching everyone else get what you want. Those suffering in silence because your life didn't go the way the illusion in your psyche told you it should. Much love to you ladies, I know your pain. Yet I also know you can do this. You can start over and make you matter.

Darkness covers the entrance.

To where the heart died.

Ivy overgrown in the doorway.

A secret place of desolation.

Deliberately you hide there.

A choice made to escape pain.

To escape having to let go.

Living in shadows of doom.

Hugging a delusion for warmth.

Eating crumbs from a trail gone cold.

Hoping love will come back.

The one that put you there.

A captor of your soul.

Imprisoned by his promises.

You wait for the day.

Love will return and set you free.

Because only he has the key.

Bust out!

Take your soul back.

There's more love than his.

It's all around you.

Find it and live again.

Be alive and in the light.

Than dead and in the dark.

Time is measured for a reason.
