No Two Endings Are the Same
I have experienced enough letdowns, heartbreaks, and setbacks for two lifetimes. Why? I guess I'm the Evel Knievel of love. For you younger folks, he was known as a motorcycle daredevil. He would jump multiple cars from ramp to ramp, sometimes through flames.
If he wasn't in the middle of one, he was planning the next jump. The rumor was he literally broke every bone in his body. Sounds familiarish to me, throwing everything out there for love. I can't think of a more worthy cause.
The problem is, they don't all work out. You may even try the same jump again. Fail one time and hit it the next. That's why you try again. Love is worth the risk to me. I've always feared the ending, in Evel's case, the landing. Truth is though, they will ALL end one way or another. If it's not through a breakup, then death will you part, eventually.
So, why live miserable in the now when you can take a jump and maybe have a happy ending on the other ramp waiting for you? I want to be that girl. The one who believes and never gives up. As long as the man who thinks the same finds me, we may just have something :-) Who knows, maybe it's somebody I already know.
