Pop Up Writing in Baytowne Wharf
While visiting the exciting Baytowne Wharf that was void of visitors, I was inspired to write out my feelings. This location was once the hottest thing in town. Well, Sandestin is very small, but still, cars would line up to get in winding down Highway 98 to get a parking pass and go through the gate.
When it was new, I worked weekends at a little shop in The Village. On a Saturday afternoon? Forget about it. You'd be lucky to find parking much less, fit in the crowded walkways. It used to be people slammed together with Hurricanes in their hands trying to inch their way down a brick walkway very much in the same spirit of New Orleans. Yesterday there were a handful of people there. It broke my heart and prompted me to write a couple of lines.
When you feel inspired, jot down a feeling or two. And do not discount the power of a couple of meaningful lines! I sent paragraphs to American Greetings more than once for review or possible purchase for them to simply buy a line or two. If you love to write then you have something to say. You never know who needs to hear it. Just write!
