Songwriter on the Loose in Nashville

Since my son moved near Nashville last year, he's made a couple of appearances at the Bluebird Cafe but that's it. Instead, he started his new career as an EMT and started establishing himself. He didn't stop songwriting but slowed down on the active pursuit.

First, he had to learn his job as an EMT and get the shift he wanted. Now that he's done that he is back on the hunt. Recently he bought a CD burner and started arming himself with a repertoire of songs intended for publishers. He was preparing himself.

Then, he decided to drive up to Nashville yesterday and beat the streets. I called him and he was soaked with sweat after walking miles and miles. He received a lot of good feedback and advice thanks to his old fashioned approach.
