Waves of Rhapsody

Nature did it to me again. Yesterday in the middle of medical chaos in my life I needed a walkabout. Naturally, I was drawn to the marina to walk along the water and let its force calm me. As I watched the majesty of nature in action, everything else in my life seemed so small.

When I'm reminded of the largeness of the Living God, it checks me immediately and soothes my troubled soul. My belly relaxed as I let the message move me. These words poured out of me.

the way they roll~

Rolling in

like massaging hands~

They burst

smoothing out the

wrinkles of life~

Leaving one whole

Healed

Better

They bang the sides

but the vibration is a lick~

A gentle, rough caress

against the hard walls of time.
