Write Anything?
Can a writer write anything? I think so. Whether it's a business letter, words in a greeting card, a text, whatever, a writer can write it. I'm learning it's good practice to write anything. This blog is enlightening me to my writing flaws.
The more I write, the more obvious my pitfalls become. Glaringly so. That is why it is so important for the serious writer to keep writing. Practice, practice, practice. The saying used to be "practice makes perfect". I'm not sure perfection will be achieved, but you will definitely sharpen your skills.
On that note, I'm going to practice writing here. You can too! Look at the picture below of the Redbud Tree and write whatever comes into your mind. A poem, a story, a song, whatever strikes you. Have fun!
Your pinkish velvet softens my soul
mushing the hard parts~
Petrified and scared the inside stands
until you reach out ~
Awakened by beauty and silkiness
I am instantly liquified~
Healing has come and I am new
to face a better day~
