"Yule Y'all" Lowe Mill Christmas Market

Jubee had a taste of success yesterday in a very interesting venue. Hundreds of folks traipsed through the artsy Lowe Mill in Huntsville. Even on a continuously rainy day. And they bought quilled gifts made of paper. Of course most gifts were in protected plastic sleeves. Thank God for those!

Jubee, of Jubeelation Creations, did a fantastic job presenting her work and interacting with the public. I think she may have been bit by the bug. I was thrilled to be there and support her vision. Unfortunately - and fortunately - people gravitated toward the ornaments as though the cards weren't even there. *Sigh*

Although we did have some interest, that just wasn't the product to push yesterday. Some folks picked them up, commented on how beautiful they were, and how patient you'd have to be to make them, and placed them right back down on the table. One lady actually took the time to read one of my verses and I heard the soft woman response, "Ahhhhh" which was music to my ears.

All in all it was a great day. We used any downtime to plan product for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. I love her whimsical, right brained, gypsy spirit. We are a lot alike so it makes it easy to create and plan together. I look forward to our next endeavor.

Lowe Mill in Huntsville is a unique venue, for sure!
